AW Metals is currently seeking a Machine Operator/Warehouse Worker in Copley, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating metal sawing machines such as hacksaw, bandsaw, circular saw, friction saw, and rubber disk saw to cut metal stock to dimensions. ​ ​ Part-time and full-time hours available. ​ ​ What else can you expect? ​ • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and perform routine maintenance on equipment. ​ • Read work order for specifications such as material, type, size of stock, and dimensions to be cut. ​ • Read tape measure to cut pieces with saw accurately. ​ • Obtain and transfer stock to machine. ​ • Drive tow motor and operate overhead cranes when necessary within shop. ​ • Install saw blade and sets blade tension and cutting speed for specified operation. ​ • Start machine and observes operations. ​ • Measure work for conformance to specifications. ​ • Mark identifying data on work piece and readies for shipment. ​ • Prepare product for shipment via LTL, UPS and Company Truck. ​ ​ What are the requirements? ​ • Machine Shop / Fabrication experience a plus. ​ • The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. ​ ​ What can we offer you? ​ • Medical, Dental, Vision, Critical Illness, Accidental Injury, and Life Insurance Benefits after 30 days. • 401k with company match. ​ • Paid vacation after 90 days.
