Republic MO

Description

We are a large food vending company based out of Indio California. We travel the country serving food at some of the United States largest music festivals. I need to hire about 15 people for this position. I don't have an exact address yet, but the event will be held in Springfield Missouri. Working dates 3/30 thru 4/3 9am - 9pm all 5 days You need to be available all of these hours and days. There are no part-time options available. PAY ***** $16 per hour plus tips. Tips at events such as this usually wind up being an additional $4-6 per hour, but could potentially be more at this event since our food booths will also be serving alcohol. This is a cash paid position, payout will be 4/3 when you clock out, after we break down the booths. If business is slow, obviously we will need to send people on breaks so that they can go enjoy the festivities for a while, but we do our absolute best to get you the hours that you need. WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF ME? We are looking for people who do well standing on their feet all day, can interact with customers and serve our menu items with a big ol smile on your face :D we have a hard-working crew and we like to have fun while we're working. No slackers please. This job is ridiculously easy, if you've worked in any type of kitchen before you should thrive here. We have super simplified menu items so customers don't usually have to wait more than a couple of seconds after paying to receive their food. WHAT KINDS OF FOOD WILL I BE SERVING? Not sure just yet what foods we will offer at this event, but some of the booths we usually do are: Chicken tenders and fries Pizza Burgers Mac and cheese Tater tots Teriyaki noodle/rice bowls You can eat for free (also free water) the entire time you are at this event, from any of our booths. We should have somewhere between 7 and 10 booths for our company. If you come and kick ass, I can add you to our regular recruitment list to get more steady work throughout the year. If you have any friends that you think might do well at this, talk to me about them. But do so at your own risk, don't invite anyone else to come and work with you that's going to make you look bad ;) it happens. Please be aware you must be able to work all five days. There are no part-time options available. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? As of right now we haven't been given any type of dress code from the event. At normal music festivals, we wear literally whatever we want. This is most likely the case here, but if they give us a dress code it will be something basic like any type of pants or shorts but with a black shirt. You'll also want to wear comfortable footwear. Closed toes. Hot grease and liquids and things you won't want on your exposed feeties. Generally these events have our booths set up on concrete or pavement, and there's a lot of standing in one spot throughout the day so it can be hard on your feet. ***** If you have any questions, please read over this post and make sure your question wasn't already answered before emailing me to ask. I try to be as thorough as I can, and this post is all the information I have for this event at this time. Once you are hired, you will be added to an email string and that is how you will receive updates as we move closer to the event date. WHAT SHOULD MY EMAIL REPLY TO THIS POST CONTAIN? 1. Your name as it appears on your ID (to receive credentials on site) and names of any friends that will be working with you) 2. Phone number Also when you send me emails, if you need to send any additional emails after the first one please go back to our first conversation and send it through there so I don't have a gazillion emails from one person all over the place ;) try to keep everything in one email string. I hire a lot of people regularly for these positions and I try to keep my email organized. Help me out folks :D
