Seeking Apprenticeship with a Violin Builder

Hi all, I am wondering if a violin builder would be willing to take me on as an apprentice. I’m eager to learn and would like to devote myself to this art. I am a patient, thoughtful, hardworking person. The closest school program I can find for this is in Boston (yuck) and very expensive. I would rather learn hands-on with an expert.
