Description

The salumeria is a new company that raises prized heritage pork at the Salumeria farm. The beautifully finish pork is then cured at the Salumeria for up to three years depending on the cut of meat and type of salami to become 26 different types of salamis and other cured meats. The salumeria started out with a 1500 square foot building in 2019 and is currently moving into a 5000 square foot processing facility. Both operating facilities are in Hays County. The Salumeria is in need of production personnel for the cutting, seasoning, stuffing and curing of 26 different kinds of cured salamis and meats. Growth has required the adding of three good workers to grow in skill and pay with the company. Opportunities for advancement are available and in fact necessary to continue growth and fulfill our customer requirements. The production supervisor will train the selected hires and pay will depend on their prior experience developing meat products. Beginning salary is $15.00/ hour with benefits to be discussed at time of interview. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week and each worker has the opportunity to grow in pay and responsibility as the Salumeria grows.
