Lawn Technician - Team Leaders & Team Members Your Way Property Services is a well-established landscape company that specializes in all phases of year round property maintenance and enhancement. We are currently recruiting experienced lawncare professionals who share our passion for the industry and are looking for a company they can grow with! We are hiring for the following positions on our Lawn Maintenance Division: · Team Leaders · Team Members Team Leader Requirements - $15 - $20+/hr. based on position & experience · At least 2 years previous landscape and/or lawn maintenance experience leading a crew (Assistant Team Leaders have previous landscape experience but limited or no experience overseeing a landscape crew) · As a Team Leader you must lead by example, with the ability to train and coach in a constructive manner. · Set a positive example while effectively engaging and motivating crews to perform to their highest potential. · Report to work 15 minutes prior to regular start time to prepare/review the day's work with supervisor and prepare for the day. · Conduct proper truck inspections - checking truck oils, fluids, tire pressure, proper trailer connection and all lights are in working condition · Oversee proper safety equipment and personal protection equipment usage and practices of the crew. · Supervise and load all tools, gas and other necessary equipment and materials in a safe manner Specific Qualifications · Experienced landscape/hardscape and/or lawn maintenance team leader (foreman) · Valid Chauffeur's License and Medical Card along with a clean driving record, or ability to get them. · Good plant, flower, tree, etc., identification skills · Ability to drive a truck and trailer · Ability to lift up to 50lbs. throughout the day. Stoop, bend and stand for up to 10 hours a day in various weather conditions. We work in adverse weather. · Strong organizational skills, with the ability to see a project through from beginning to end in an efficient manner. · Experienced using landscape and lawn maintenance equipment including, but not limited to, skidsters, tampers, cut off saws, trimmers, blowers, pruners, trimmers, weed whips. mowers, edgers, etc. Team Members - $13 - $16+/hr. based on experience · Previous landscape/hardscape and/or lawn maintenance experience preferred, but willing to train hard working, motivated individuals.
