I have an adorable male long-haired Syrian foster hammy named Lentil, who is looking for a forever and loving home. He is the most gentle boy and a sweetheart. His fur is luxuriously soft and he enjoys zooming on his wheel at night. He will gladly hop onto your hand for treats or free time. He enjoys eating his nightly fresh veggie suppers, digging in various substrates, and zoning out in his sand bath. He is currently staying in a 50-gallon bin enclosure and will require a cage equivalent to or larger than 750 sq inches, with a 12+ inch wheel. He is quite a late-riser but will be great for a beginner ham owner. Although he is very sweet, he is not suitable for young children as hammies require a lot of responsibility and they are crepuscular animals who wake up at night.
