Description

PALATINE, IL — Do you like to cut a rug and show off your fancy footwork? If you said "yes," Palatine Park District's dancing event is just for you. The park district is hosting a virtual line dancing event on Jan. 5 through Feb. 9. Like to dance, but don't have a partner? Line dancing is a pattern of steps done over and over again throughout the course of a song that individuals can do without a partner. Anyone interested in taking park can do so through a private Zoom link and learn to dance in their own living room! During the event, participants will dance to country music as well as other genres. All the steps will be thoroughly explained. "You'll develop your inner dancer, keep your mind engaged and start working off those COVID-19 pounds! No experience needed, and supplemental online instruction is available," The event, which costs $50 for residents, will be taught by Dance With Janet. To register for the upcoming event, click here.
