PITTSBURGH, PA - Frequent landslides caused by storm water runoff above the Mt. Washington Transit Tunnel's south entrance have prompted detours to bus and light rail traffic, the Port Authority of Allegheny County announced. The Port Authority tweeted at around 7:30 a.m Wednesday that morning bus and light rail service around the tunnel was delayed by approximately 15 minutes. Here's how service is being impacted at the moment: Update: Inbound rail cars will continue to detour through Allentown, Outbound rail cars will board/alight at the inbound side of the Station Square and South Hills Junction Stops. https://t.co/IFLFpWZhvf— Port Authority Alerts (@PghTransitAlert) January 8, 2020
