Are you a musician looking for a community to share in your passion for music, for a group of wonderful folks to meet and play with? The Saint Anthony's Philharmonic band of Cambridge is the place to be! We are a philharmonic concert and marching band based out of Cambridge, MA. Or origins are in the Portuguese community, but we have expanded over the past 5 decades (yes, we've been around for just about 50 years!) and welcome any musician that has a love for music and would like to play. We are always looking for clarinet players, saxophone players (alto, tenor and baritone), trombone players, tuba players, drummers - you name it! if you can march with it, we're happy to have you! COVID has impacted our ability to schedule gigs over the past two years, but we are looking to get back into the swing of playing concerts and parades this spring/summer. We typically practice on Sunday mornings from 10AM to 1PM and our gigs are normally on Sundays as well. We are a non-profit organization, so compensation is not an option, but we are here to play together, eat and drink together, and to truly be part of this community that has been so interconnected in the city of Cambridge for 50 years.
