PITTSBURGH, PA — One man was killed Tuesday morning in the city's Hill District. The incident occurred on the 2500 block of Bedford Avenue around 11 a.m., according to Pittsburgh public safety officials. When first responders arrived on the scene, they discovered a man in the street with a gunshot wound to the chest. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition; he died a short time later. While conducting the investigation, a second gunshot victim walked into a local hospital. The person was listed in stable condition Tuesday afternoon. Police did not immediately indicate if the second person was involved in the fatal shooting incident. There were no other injuries at the scene or suspect descriptions. The Crime Scene and Violent Crime unit detectives processed the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
