Join us for a lively panel discussion over dinner with potter, Billy Ritter, clothing designer, William McNichol, floral artist, Kate Rutter and composer-musician, Carl Baldassare about the art of creation in many forms. How does an idea turn into art that has a function and evolve to become part of every day living? How do different artists turn their beautiful visions into a resource for the community? How does something become special? And how do we honor the quest for sustainability -- not just in our actions but in our belongings? This free form discussion, moderated by Dre Wien of LADDER, will touch on what it means to be both an artist and a consumer in a modern world.
