Carlson Construction NW is a growing residential remodeling company and looking to hire 1 carpenter and 2 laborer. Laborer must be a hard worker, punctual, comfortable with power tools and willing to learn the trade. As a laborer there will be a lot of manual laborer to such as digging, moving materials, stacking landscape stone, etc. so must be physically fit. Must have general knowledge of how to measure and cut using a variety of hand and power tools and be able to take direction from carpenters. Basic hand tools such as hammer, tape measure, speed square etc. are required. Opportunity for advancement, as your knowledge and tool collection grows so will your pay rate. Carpenters must be skilled, tooled, and motivated. Must work well unsupervised, be able to think on your feet, have the knowledge and experience to solve problems as they arise, and lead a crew. A wide range of skills is a must. As a general contractor we perform a wide range of tasks including, but not limited to: -Framing - Concrete slabs and footings; foundations - Decks - Fences - Stairs and handrail systems - Flooring - Drywall - Tile - Cabinet installation - Finish carpentry - Door and window installation - Patios and awnings - Landscaping Qualified candidates will also have personal, reliable transportation, have at least most of the necessary tools, be punctual and professional.
