The first annual May Day 5K presented by The United Way of Rutland County and Castleton University! Your Support for the United Way May Day 5K benefits all of Rutland County through United Way’s Community Impact Grants and Targeted Impact Programs. Your participation helps our Community Impact Grants team to partner with 16 agencies providing funding to 18 different programs. Campaign fundraising dollars also support our Targeted Impact priorities through Happy Feet, a shoes replacement program and Welcome to Winter, a free hat and mitten program; both of which partner with all schools throughout Rutland County. On race day, you will have the opportunity to visit with representatives from United Way partner agencies and learn about United Way's targeted impact and community impact programs. Registration begins at 9 am and run begins promptly at 10 am.
