Dog was living with a family that didn’t train him very well and was going to put him down when they moved because he is aggressive towards strangers and some dogs. My girlfriends dad found out about it and told me, I intervened and took him from the neglectful owner before he could be killed. I would take him but I live with my parents and they have three dogs already (one which is dog aggressive) and live in town. He has a lot of potential, he needs to be fixed and trained. I’ve scheduled an appointment but it’s a month out and have been working on training him. He’s very intelligent and loyal once he gets to know you. Like I mentioned earlier, he is aggressive towards strangers and other large male dogs. Ideally I’m looking for a house with a fenced yard and an owner that is familiar with large dogs and will be able to work with him. He knows basic commands and can sit, lay down, shake, come here, and I’m working on heel. He has great genetics and a good build, he was supposedly quite expensive. The owners husband bought him as a guard dog and brought him home without telling her but they’re split up now or something. Anyway, if this sounds like a dog for you get ahold of me. The rehoming fee is 150 dollars to weed out inappropriate owners who would resell or fight him. Please only contact me if you have experience with large potentially aggressive dogs. He was rehomed initially with some numb skull who was bringing him to work and introducing him to all sorts of new people constantly and he nipped somebody and the guy freaked out. This is not a dog as he is now that you can let off leash at the dog park or bring around tons of strangers. He will be loyal and loving with his owners but not everybody, he is honestly more of a guard dog type. When he is neutered and with some age and training he will mellow out.
