Dec. 14 ID Theft An ID theft was reported at 5:49 p.m from a resident on Arbor Lane. Dec. 12 Battery Oswego police took a report of a battery that occurred at 3 p.m. at a store in the 1600 block of Douglas Road. Police said a 36-year-old woman was the uninjured victim in the incident, which remains under investigation. Dec. 11 Robbery Oswego police are investigating a robbery that occurred at 4:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Saugatuck Road near Sonora Drive. Police said $80 was stolen from a 17-year-old male. Damaged Light Pole Oswego police responded to a hit-and-run crash that occurred at 3:30 p.m. on Fifth Street at Wiesbrook Drive. Police said an unknown vehicle left the roadway and struck a light pole that is owned by the village. Damage to the light pole was estimated in excess of $1,500. Police said they are investigating. Crash A 73-year-old Montgomery resident was injured and taken to an area hospital following a crash at 4:56 p.m. on Douglas Road at Old Post Road. Police described the Montgomery resident's injuries as minor, but damage to both vehicles was extensive. Dec. 8 Money Scam A resident of the 400 block of Orchard Road in Oswego told village police at 1 p.m. that she was scammed out of money by someone posing as a representative from Apple. The victim told officers she had purchased gift cards for the scammer to do computer work.
