RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — While some established Thanksgiving turkey trots were scrapped this year throughout the Inland Empire, due to pandemic-related crowd restrictions, others still are a go. Several organizers are opting for virtual formats — meaning you can run anytime or anywhere. (Treadmills may even count!) And if you're debating whether to "gobble-wobble" in 2020 with most of the massive, festive extravaganzas having fallen by the wayside, keep in mind such local non-profits as food banks, homeless shelters, senior services and school groups still benefit from these runs' registration fees — even if races are virtual.
