Children will make a accordion pocket book and create art cards to exchange with each other for the pockets of their books. MASKS OPTIONAL Children will make a accordion pocket book and create art cards to exchange with each other for the pockets of their books. Children will be taught to make an accordion pocket fold book. They will then make a set mixed media cards to fit in the pockets. To encourage communication and a gifting spirit, the children will exchange their cards with each other so that each child's book has a card from every member of the class. MATERIALS PROVIDED TO ATTENDEES Lots of interesting recycled papers to work with, paints, crayons, and glue. MATERIALS ATTENDEES SHOULD BRING FROM HOME (IF ANY) Bring any interesting papers they want to recycle and use on their cards to be shared with the group.
