Men's Prayer Breakfast rescheduled for Saturday, April 2nd at 10am - 1pm Men of God as you know we had to reschedule the prayer breakfast because of the inclement weather on March 12th. I have opened registration for those of you who did not get a chance to register. (Those of you that have registered already DO NOT have to do so again), feel free to invite others. I believe the word that will come forth that day will be powerful and will impact your life. ***** It is not a pep-rally, it is not a preaching extravaganza to get you hipped-up. It is a fellowship of men that I know that I have been able to glean from, and men that I don't know but hope to learn from. We are the body of Christ and although we may not all have the same background or life experiences; it does not mean that any of us is more or less important in the Father's eyes. The word communion means the sharing or exchanging of intimate thoughts. Paul corrected the church in Corinth for not discerning the LORD’s body during the time of communion; 1 Corinthians 11:29-30; " Not discerning the LORD's body, many are weak and sickly among you and many sleep". But I'd like to use it in this context; Not discerning all that the Lord has in his body, many are weak in faith, your vision is poor and lacks direction, the dreams that the Father has given us dies prematurely. Because we fail to "let the word of Christ dwell in us richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns..." (Colossians 3:16) In short, we cannot mature in Christ without one another. Pastor Mark Douglas
