The Yuma Center for Spiritual Living and the Law firm of Walsma & Rodriguez PC are offering a free Healthcare POA and Living Will workshop. Get It Done! As a Special Event, the Yuma Center for Spiritual Living, and the Law firm of Walsma & Rodriguez, PC are offering a Healthcare POA and Living Will Workshop to the community free of charge! It will be held Saturday, March 26 from 1pm until 4pm, at the Yuma Center for Spiritual Living. In this workshop, we will help you: 1) Decide how to choose who will be your healthcare proxy in case you are incapacitated 2) Fill out and witness your Healthcare Power of Attorney, and where to file it 3) Understand all the healthcare options you have as you are dying, and the implications of each. 4) Fill out and witness your Living Will/Advanced Directive, and where to file it You will leave with these two forms completed, and you'll know what to do with them to increase the likelihood that the proper medical Provider has easy access in case they are needed.
