Summer Sunset Groove is a fundraiser to benefit community programming and scholarships for students in Henry County. Summer Sunset Groove is a concert and Day Party presented by the Henry County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Monies raised from this event will go toward community programming and scholarships for the students of Henry County. SSG will feature national recording artists Anthony David and Algebra Blessett along with DJ Maurice Bell and others. This event will be hosted by Atlanta legend, Joyce Littel of V103. Food trucks and vendors will be on site for our general admission audience or enjoy our VIP experience with reserved table seating and access to our VIP tent! This is an event that you will not want to miss! FAQs What is the attire? The Summer Sunset Groove is a “cute casual” daytime affair. Please no hats or caps Is this a Family Event? The Summer Sunset Groove is an adult only affair. Please leave the little ones at home Do I need to pay for parking? No. There is ample free parking at Heritage Park just a short walk from the Event Center Can I buy tickets at the door? No tickets will be sold at the park on the day of the event Do I need to bring my printed ticket to the event? You must have your ticket either printed or available on your mobile device for entry Is there a Rain Date? This event will take place rain or shine. Do I need to have a COVID Vaccine to attend? YES! Per the COVID policy of the Henry County alumnae Chapter, must show proof of being vaccinated OR have received a negative test within 24 hours of your attendance. Please see full policy below. COVID POLICY All attendees of Summer Sunset Grove must either show Proof of Full COVID-19 Vaccination OR provide proof of a negative test no more than 24 hours prior to the event. To be considered fully vaccinated, attendees must meet the below requirements: • At least 2 weeks have passed after their second dose in a two-dose vaccination series, such as Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, OR 2 weeks have passed after their single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson/Jansen. • If more than 6 months have passed since the second dose of a two-dose series OR more than 2 months have passed since the single-dose vaccine, they must have received a booster shot. To show proof of full vaccination: • Upon arrival, attendees with proof of vaccination must proceed to the designated area. Valid forms of documentation include: • Your state’s verification app showing proof of vaccination • An original CDC Vaccination Card • A digital photograph or photo copy of CDC Vaccination Card (one side) If you do not have proof of vaccination in your possession: • You must provide proof of a negative COVID test (PCR or Rapid) within 24 hours of attendance taken by a certified testing site (at home tests will not be accepted). • MASKS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BE WORN DURING THIS EVENT
