Merchandisers play a vital role in the success of Maletis Beverage. Our Merchandisers are the face of the operations as they represent who we are as a company through excellent customer service. After product is delivered to the customer by one of our drivers, Merchandisers step into stock, rotate, and organize the products in an efficient and professional manner. Every Merchandiser is provided a company phone for ease of keeping track of hours, mileage and communicating with team members and leaders. We have part-time and full-time positions available as well as summer seasonal positions. Here is a list of different areas that we have our Merchandisers in: Beaverton, OR Gresham, OR Happy Valley, OR Hillsboro, OR Lake Oswego, OR NE/SE Portland, OR Newberg, OR Tigard, OR Qualifications: • Valid driver's license, auto insurance and good driving record are required • Minimum of 18 years of age • Must be able to own/operate a mobile smart phone device • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (THC is not tested for) Benefits: • Quarterly incentives • Mileage reimbursement • Paid Vacation • Paid Sick Time • Health Insurance: Medical, Dental and Vision • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) • Retirement Plan: 401(k) + company match, profit sharing Job Details: • Merchandise cases/bottles/cans of beer, and non-alcoholic beverages • Drive your personal vehicle to service major grocery chain accounts. Service them by moving product from backstock and/or delivery pallets to shelves and displays on salesfloor. • Ensure workspace, either in backroom or on the salesfloor, is always efficient to work in – clean area of any debris, work safely, be observant • Able to use equipment to move product around (i.e. pallet jack, hand truck) • Lift, push, pull product to build displays to increase sales • Fill refrigerated sections, open shelves and displays with product • Maintain high level of professionalism, positive behaviors, respectfulness, and attentiveness. Be responsive to customer service opportunities. • Accurately and honestly clock in/out and record mileage to be submitted • Maintain communication with Team Lead and manager • Preform other jobs duties as assigned Work Environment: • Mainly grocery store environments • Requires commuting to multiple accounts a day • Most positions have a start time of 5 AM Physical Demands: • Capability to learn and use IOS and Microsoft software • Lift/carry 35 lbs. repetitively and up to 50 lbs. • Push/pull up to 100 lbs. • Bend/stoop/crouch/squat/use arms/wrists/hands/grasp • Drive personal vehicle • Operate non-power equipment • Working in backrooms of retail environments About: Maletis Beverage is a local, 4th generation, family-owned beverage distributor that was founded in 1935.
