Kings Cross Automotive is a family-owned auto repair shop looking to add a full-time Shop Assistant/Lot Porter to our team. This position offers 40 hours per week and great potential to grow your professional automotive skills. Available shifts are: AM: 7am-4pm Monday-Friday PM: 9am-6pm Monday-Friday What we are looking for in a candidate: -Positive attitude and eager to learn -Team player with excellent customer service skills -Cleanliness and attention to detail -Ability to drive a wide variety of vehicles sometimes in tight spaces -Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record As one of 3 Shop Assistants, your duties will include (but are not limited to): -Running shop errands (picking up parts, shuttling clients) using a company vehicle -Assisting Technicians and Service Managers as needed -Maintaining common and customer lounge areas -Sanitizing throughout shift -Trash and recycling management -Sweeping and general shop cleaning -Opening OR closing shop Candidates with automotive career interest will have an opportunity to learn more about basic automotive maintenance and the operations of a high-end, independent repair shop. *Frequent standing and heavy lifting is required* If you like a fast-paced work environment, we encourage you to apply today!
