Help create garden literacy kits + clean up the gardening plots at Mary Meredith's Community Garden. WHAT TO EXPECT: Bzzzz, Bzzzz! We will work together with other kids + families to create garden literacy kits for TUSD students to get them excited to be D.I.Y gardeners. We will also help the Community Gardens of Tucson clean up + prepare the gardening plots for springtime planting at Mary Meredith School's Community Garden. KIND NOTES: We will be working in the garden so please bring water, wear a hat and/or sunscreen. Kid-size gardening gloves will be provided. Feel free to bring your own if you have them. A takeaway snack will be provided for the Kid Volunteers at the completion of the project. Stay tuned for additional details to help you prepare for the day!
