The UA Black Alumni Association is pleased to announce The Inaugural University of Alabama Black Alumni Charity Golf Tournament The Inaugural University of Alabama Black Alumni Charity Golf Tournament benefitting UA BAA and Diversity Scholarships at the Capstone. This year’s Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2022 in Birmingham, AL and is promised to be a fun weekend of reconnecting alumni, families, and friends of the university celebrating diversity. We are planning for the weekend to become an annual affair to help raise awareness of the work of BAA and members, and funding for our scholarships. BAA’s philanthropic work supports five minority preference scholarships under our umbrella: • Pollie Anne Myers-Pinkins AAAN Endowed Scholarship • Jordan J. Edwards Memorial Endowed Scholarship • Boykin F. Hunter-Dave McGlathery Endowed Scholarship • Jennica Kimberly Mancarella Endowed Scholarship • Dianne Kirksey Memorial Endowed Scholarship Our efforts work to inspire achievement and continued commitment to the University.
