APEX LANDSCAPES, LLC SEEKING LAWN/LANDSCAPING TECHNICIAN General Overview: To provide comprehensive lawn care maintenance services at multiple residential and/or commercial properties throughout the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Specific Duties: Many of the duties listed below are performed regularly throughout the seasons; others are only performed when needed. * Operation of lawn care equipment (riding mower, walk-behind mower, line trimmer, edger, blower, truck/trailer, etc.) to care for established lawns by mulching, trimming, and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls. Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edger’s. * Spot weeding * Organic fertilizer application * Yard debris pick-up * Mulching * Proper upkeep of established landscaping for commercial/residential properties * Minor equipment maintenance * Assorted lawn care maintenance * Related tasks as assigned * Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. * Ability to interact professionally with all customers, employees, and those from external organizations * Knowledge and experience installing a variety of hardscape applications a plus * Proficient at operating equipment such as a Kubota and tractors with various attachments a plus * Bilingual-Spanish a plus * Work well with others to resolve issues * Properly load and unload equipment * Follow all traffic laws Minimum Requirements: * Experience with or ability to operate equipment. Employees will receive training on safe and effective use of all equipment. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to perform manual physical labor on a daily basis which may include walking two plus miles a day, bending, squatting, kneeling and/or standing for up to eight hours at a time. * Ability to work outside in a wide range of weather conditions. * Additional working conditions may include inadequate lighting, restricted movement, and dirty/wet worksites. * Must have reliable transportation to and from work. * This position may be required to work on weekends and holidays. Due to seasonal nature of work, some peak load situations may arise. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
