BETHEL, CT — Brotherhood in Action will be holding a food drive Saturday. The food collected will be used in the organization's Easter deliveries. Drop-off spot will be Bethel United Methodist Church on Greenwood Avenue from 9 a.m. to noon. Motorists will not exit their vehicles, and are advised to enter the parking lot from the Greenwood Avenue entrance only, and exit the back lot through School Street. BIA is looking for all canned, dry, and shelf-stable food items, particularly canned beans, pasta, salad dressing, mustard, and ketchup. "We've also recently started supporting the direct needs of students in the Bethel school system so single-serve, healthy snack foods good for kids are also appreciated," organization officials posted to social media.
