ORLAND PARK, IL — Traffic congestion will soon be lessened on a part of 159th Street in Orland Park. The Illinois Department of Transportation's project on the thoroughfare is expected to be complete by the end of this week. All lanes between Ravinia Avenue and Will Cook Road are expected to be open on Saturday, Nov. 20 according to the village of Orland Park.
Landscaping along the road will be completed in the spring, the village said. Also, expect "significant improvement in vehicular flow and reduced travel times."
