BALTIMORE, MD — The Maryland Science Center in Baltimore hopes to return a WWII-era ring to its rightful owner.
Workers said the wedding band was found at the center Friday, Feb. 18.
No one has stepped up to claim it.
"If you are missing your special ring please send us a direct message or call 410-545-5959 to identify and arrange for pick up," the center posted to its official Facebook page.
Here is an actual photo of the ring:
Center employees told WBFF-TV that the ring has an inscription, which includes the year, 1944.
Staff hopes the ring's owner will tell them what the remainder of the inscription contains to ensure it's returned to the correct person.
