PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Part of Bridge Street will be closed at set hours so that restaurants have more room for socially distanced outdoor dining. The decision was made at the Phoenixville borough council meeting Tuesday evening. The 100 and 200 blocks of Bridge Street will be closed at designated hours beginning this Thursday, June 11. The lot at Main and Bridge streets will also be closed. Restaurants and other businesses may apply for a temporary, no-cost open-air permit that will allow them to sell food and merchandise on the street. >>Outdoor Dining Opens In Phoenixville: Here's Where To Eat All busineses on the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of Bridge Street, as well as businesses on Main Street and Gay Street, may apply for permits. The closure of the 100 and 200 blocks of Bridge Street will begin each Thursday at 3 p.m. and continue until 7 a.m. the following Monday, until further notice. >>N. Main Street In Phoenixville To Be Closed For Construction Businesses set up on the sidewalks and in the closed roadway are permitted to be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday through Sunday. No parking will be permitted on the 100 and 200 blocks of Bridge Street from Thursday at 2 p.m. through Monday at 7 a.m.
