NAPERVILLE, IL — Pixar's latest movie, "Turning Red," features the voice acting of an up-and-coming Naperville resident. Ava Morse, 16, performs the voice of Miriam in the film, which is available on Disney+, according to Daily Herald. Morse was just five years old when she started pursuing an acting career. Her already impressive resume includes performances at Drury Lane Theatre in Oak Brook, Paramount Theatre in Aurora and Goodman Theatre in Chicago. She has also appeared in television commercials and shows that include "Chicago PD," Daily Herald reports. In "Turning Red," a 13-year-old girl named Mei Lee must cope with the fact that she becomes a large red panda when her emotions escalate. Rosalie Chiang voices Mei Lee and Sandra Oh voices her mother, Ming. Morse's character, Miriam, is one of Lee's closest friends. Read more on Daily Herald
