Landscape Maintenance Manager Position Immediate Opening Description: Landscape Maintenance Manager oversees the landscape projects, maintenance, winter snow removal and the workers who implement it. Job responsibilities include meeting with clients (or management) to develop or refine plans for projects as well as contract quotes and negotiations for new and existing clients, Hiring laborers. Maintenance Manager supervises the workers who install and maintain landscaping as well as winter snow removal routes. This will involve scheduling work crews, planning daily work activities, and monitoring the work being done. Landscape manager also be responsible for training workers, especially on safety procedures when large equipment or hazardous materials are involved. Manager should have some knowledge of plants, environmental issues and landscaping tools. Inspects and evaluates work being performed; identifies problem areas and directs remedial action. Work Experience: Previous experience preferred, leadership ability, landscaping know-how, a high school diploma and appropriate licensure. Bi-Lingual Preferred. Landscape Manager must be knowledgeable of equipment and tools, which may range from large earth-moving machines to hand tools.
