DOYLESTOWN, PA — A portion of Ferry Road is closed Thursday afternoon following a traffic accident, the Doylestown Township Police Department said. The crash occurred around 3:50 p.m. and involved a utility pole, according to the police report. The road is closed in both directions between Limekiln Road and Chapman Road. Police said the road closure is expected to last for several hours. "Please avoid the area," they wrote.
