PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Multiple road closures were put in place Thursday as winds up to 60 miles an hour brought down trees and wires in the borough.
Gay Street is shut down between Fourth Avenue and Fifth Avenue/Nutt Road due to a tree down, and electric lines across the roadway, the Phoenixville Fire Department said.
B Street was also closed between Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue due to a downed tree.

Officials said at 2 p.m. that they hope the roads will be open within two hours.
