Ampersand is hiring a part time plant operator who will be assisting the fulltime plant operator with operation and maintenance activities of an automated hydroelectric generating station located in Ogdensburg, NY. Duties include routine inspection of the facility site, operation of the equipment, and required maintenance work. This is a part time position and pay will be on an hourly basis, with a guarantee of 2 hours per week based on the candidate calling in to verify/monitor the plant status on weekends. On call status is required. Hours are flexible, but the position will require weekend work plus seasonal availability on an as-needed basis.
