PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Phoenixville police said Monday a tractor trail may have been damaged a traffic signal control box while making a left turn toward Franklin Avenue from Bridge Street. A white Volvo tractor pulling a white trailer was photographed at the scene of the damage, around 9:36 p.m. on July 27, a police publication said. A traffic signal and control box was destroyed, the report said. The truck was traveling east on Bridge Street (Rt. 113), and apparently made a left turn onto Gay Street toward Franklin Avenue, heading north toward the Veteran's Memorial Bridge. The turn may have left the damage behind, police suspect. Police are asking anyone with information to please contact Phoenixville Police Officer Wakeley at 610-933-1180, ext. 849.
