BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Bolingbrook who police say pulled a gun on an employee of a medical office after she was reportedly punched in the face on Tuesday has posted bond after appearing in court on Wednesday, according to Will County Jail records. Helena Moore, 30, paid 10 percent of an ordered $30,000 bond and was released Wednesday night, records show. Moore was charged with felony aggravated use of a weapon and misdemeanor aggravated assault in connection with the incident. Moore was charged after prosecutors said she got into a physical altercation with Kimberly Tobias, 26. Police said Tuesday that the two women had an altercation years ago and that it prompted Tuesday's incident at Advanced Pediatric Care on Remington Boulevard. Kimberly Tobias was released on her own recognizance after being arrested in connection with an incident at a Bolingbrook medical office this week. (Bolingbrook Police Department) Police said that Moore had taken her baby in for care and that Tobias was assigned to provide care to the baby. Police said Tobias punched Moore in the face, which prompted Moore to pull out a 9 mm handgun. Prosecutors said at Wednesday's hearing that Moore was holding her baby in one hand and the gun in the other and threatened to shoot Tobias, Shaw Media reported. Tobias was arrested and released on her own recognizance, Bolingbrook Police said. Prosecutors are still deciding whether they will charge Tobias criminally, a spokeswoman for the Will County State's Attorney Office said.
