WHITE PLAINS, NY — A multi-faith Community of Conscience prayer ceremony in solidarity with Ukraine will take place in White Plains Friday. It is co-hosted by the Westchester Human Rights Commission, the AJC (American Jewish Committee) Westchester/Fairfield Regional Office and the Westchester Jewish Council. WHERE: Outdoor Plaza behind Westchester County Court, 111 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., White Plains. (Outdoor plaza by the White Plains Library)WHEN: 2 p.m. March 18Organizers said the program, expected to last about an hour, will be a prayer vigil with both elected officials and clergy from all different denominations. Westchester County Executive George Latimer will be among the participants.
