Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix: Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona broke ground Tuesday on the Excel Center, a tuition-free program that will give adults the opportunity to earn a high school diploma. The center, located near 48th and McDowell Road in Phoenix, will allow students 18 and over to get college credit and workforce credentials as well. Tim O'Neill, president and CEO of Goodwill stated that Arizona is one of the states that most needs something like this, adding that there are more than 700,000 adults in the state that do not have a high school diploma. (KTAR.com)Two suspects were caught on video throwing Molotov cocktails onto the roof of the Bread + Honey House restaurant in east Phoenix, and now police are asking for help in identifying the perpetrators. The incident took place just before 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 28. The glass bottles filled with gasoline caused thousands of dollars in damages. (FOX 10 News Phoenix)The wife of Phoenix Police Officer Tyler Moldovan posted a video of her husband opening, closing, and flexing his right arm and hand, a major step forward on his road to recovery. Officer Moldovan was shot 8 times in December in the line of duty. He spent a month in the hospital.
