Press release from the Richard Free Press: By Jon DePaolis ORLAND PARK, Ill. — With Christmastime in full swing, the Orland Park Lions Club's annual tree sales are set to begin Sunday, Nov. 22. The trees — which will be available to purchase in the parking lot by the Orland Park Village Hall, 14700 Ravinia Ave. — cost $12 per foot, and the proceeds will be put into the Lions Club's charitable accounts and used to benefit those in need in the community. While there will be no delivery service provided this year, the trees will be trimmed, wrapped and loaded onto purchasers' vehicles by club volunteers. The hours of operation for the tree sales are: 4-7 p.m. Mondays to Fridays; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays (Nov. 28, Dec. 5, Dec. 12 and Dec. 19); and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sundays (Nov. 22, Nov. 29, Dec. 6 and Dec. 13). Tree sales will not occur on Thanksgiving.
