Description
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Firefighters responded to the scene of a small fire in a Phoenixville home on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. in a rowhome on the first block of Mill Street.
Smoke was coming from the home when firefighters arrived on the scene.
Crews investigated and determined that the fire had originated from a microwave. The fire was quickly extinguished, and firefighters were able to prevent the rest of the kitchen from suffering damage.
Only essential units responded to the scene: Phoenixville responders and a engine from Upper Providence.
No injuries were reported.
