The Coalition of All Breed Rescue of Arizona (CABRA) is having another low cost microchip and vaccination clinic from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the University of Arizona Maricopa County Cooperative Extension building on 4341 E. Broadway in Phoenix (roughly 43rd street and Broadway).
Sunday, March 20, 2022
9:00am-2:00pm
4341 E. Broadway, Phoenix, AZ
We are in need of volunteers! Volunteers would be responsible for helping us set up and/or tear down. During the clinic’s operation, volunteers will greet incoming clients, help identify what services are needed, give the clients correct intake paperwork, help scan for chips, assist owners in helping them weigh their dogs, and/or completing rabies vaccination certificates for the vet.
During the clinic dogs (or cats) are largely handled and must be always kept under control by the owners, the vet tech, or the veterinarian. Sometimes there is some puppy and even human baby holding to assist those who need an extra pair of arms while they fill out paperwork or wait for their turn with the vet.
Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent volunteer. It’s a great opportunity for “together time” while a student completes volunteer hours for National Honor Society, FFA, etc. It would also definitely a positive experience for a high schooler thinking about a career or job in veterinary medicine.
This is a unique opportunity with CABRA, a long standing partner in the Phoenix rescue community! Please use the attached Sign Up Genius link to fill a slot during times needed. If you have any questions, please contact Bill Ferrell at
