Drug Seller Is Guilty In Overdose Death: Chester County Jury

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Drug Delivery Resulting in Death was the charge and a Chester County jury found Jamane Raynor guilty last week for selling heroine and other drugs that caused the overdose death of a Phoenixville man. Raynor, age 32, of Philadelphia, was convicted of four counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver, Drug Delivery Resulting in Death, and other charges. Chester County District Attorneys said Raynor sold heroin, fentanyl and methamphetamine to Nicholas Mincarelli, 40, resulting in Mincarelli's death in 2019. The victim was found dead of a drug overdose in his parent's home, the Chester County District Attorney's Office said. Also involved in the case was Jansen Stadelmaier, 35, of Phoenixville, who pleaded guilty earlier this year to Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, according to court documents. The Chester County District Attorney said these charges related to "his role in Mincarelli's death." Stadelmaier, who testified at the trial, directed police to his apartment's extensive video surveillance system that showed Raynor packaging and then selling the fatal drugs to the victim. Both Raynor and Stadelmaier will be sentenced at a later date, the D.A.'s office said. Court docket show a sentencing date set for Dec. 1. In a 2017 case, Raynor pleaded guilty and served a sentence for manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver. Phoenixville Police conducted the investigation and Assistant District Attorneys Vince Cocco and Scott Werner handled the prosecution.
