Live-In Concierge, Custodian, Grounds Maintenance Level: S2 Salary: $31,200 annual salary, plus living quarters and utilities 5% Profit Sharing Quarterly Date Last Edited: 3/15/2022 5:41PM To Apply for this job email a Resume and Cover Letter JOB SUMMARY This experienced concierge cleans vacation rental units, assists guests online, and supports general repair work as-needed, and maintains property. The role requires employee to live on the 3-acre vacation rental property to ensure prompt service to guests at any time day or night. May perform general duties such as painting, light bulb replacements, project support, and seasonal tasks such as snow removal. Although a salary position, 40-hour work weeks are expected. At this level, the incumbent works mostly independent, but may oversee or coach additional staff or vendors as needed. Some duties may be performed in collaboration with contract service providers. Displaying a high level of courtesy, communication skills, and customer service skills, this person will interface with guests (mostly online) as the guest’s main point of contact. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Maintains a courteous, eager-to-help, and positive attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Red Rock Canyon Retreat. • Acts as an advocate for family friendly environment. No criminal history of felonies or abuse to children. • Supports new or maintains existing vacation rental units. • Independently completes the setup, implementation, and breakdown of improvement projects or repair projects as assigned. • Ownership of guest interactions to ensure high level of customer service. • Maintains order and cleanliness in all maintenance storage areas and work areas. • Reacts with a sense of urgency to customer needs, such as RV parking assist, delivery of extra supplies, guests being locked-out, exterior trash maintenance, and any other guest issues or complaints, as assigned. • Orders supplies and/or replacement parts, maintains supply inventory, and receives shipments. • Independently completes assigned work order requests within standard service times. • Exterior building and grounds are required to be maintained. This includes snow removal, mowing, weed maintenance, trash removal, mud mitigation as needed, etc. Ensures the external areas are free from hazards and obstructions. QUALIFICATIONS Faith & Culture • Supports a Christian operation where faith is integrated into the business. • Accountable for supporting, upholding, and engaging in a higher standard of ethical and moral behavior in all internal and external communication and relationships. Education High School Diploma Work Experience Two years Experience working in housekeeping, customer service, skilled craft positions, projects, and/or related disciplines. Other Non-Smoker & No substance abuse or alcohol overuse. Must maintain sobriety at all times for emergency responses as needed. WORKING CONDITIONS Work Environment 3-acre property of multiple vacation rental units, both residential and RV Physical Demands Sitting, standing/walking, lifting, and/or operating machinery for at least 8 hrs/day Other This position requires occasional driving of RRCR owned vehicle/machinery. Position eligibility is contingent upon both possession of a valid driver's license. On-Call may be Required as needed This position requires that the employee live on-property or within a 15 minute drive. After-hours support may be needed, thus applicant must notify supervisor if coverage within 45 min cannot be maintained at any given time.
