LAKEWOOD - alternative/indie/rock/pop punk band seeks talented male or female vocalist who is comfortable with these genres. Some musical knowledge is obviously helpful. Playing an instrument is not mandatory, but some keys could be useful. Our sound is still expanding, but so far our 10 or so original songs, we are sounding similar to bands like: Incubus, Bush, No Doubt, Nirvana, RHCP, Metallica, Blink, etc. We do want to work on mostly original songs as we are all four (Two guitars, bass, and drums) songwriters in our right. Though, I'm sure an occasional cover or two is not out of the question. We do have a rapper/backing vocalist which makes for some cool breakdowns, but need a talented lead to take the bulk. Some lyrical ideas exist already, but obviously as the singer you would have a lot of input over the lyrics as well. We are practicing Mon and Tues evenings now, but are willing to work with you on practice times.
