slowcore/shoegaze/industrial band looking for drummer

Description

Hi, we are currently a 3-piece band consisting of two guitarists, whom both also play bass, and a female vocalist/violinist. Our sound combines slow tempos, shoegazey guitar, and haunting vocals, mixed with contrasting louder experimental sounds that take songs to another dimension, before nicely wrapping them up. Not really into guitar solos, or big vocals, but more into collaborative pieces where the instruments build off from one another. Essentially looking to put together a classical disasterpiece. Strange, yet pretty? Songs not overtly long. We have a solid set of material we've been working on, but have exhausted the electric drum tracks, and are ready to add a real drummer to our band. Looking for: someone around the same age (late 20s-mid 30's), be comfortable improvising on the fly, we do most of our recordings that way, anything goes don't be in 5 other bands, we practice weekly and would like someone that can dedicate time to this project be in the Philly area (or willing to commute to South Philly) Influences are: Dead Can Dance, This Mortal Coil, Lebanon Hanover, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Cocteau Twins, Arab Strap, Mogwai, Einstürzende Neubauten, Coil, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, The Horrors, Suede, Rowland S. Howard
