Golden retriever & small terrier sighting

I live on the SW corner of Euclid and Mabel. Last night I saw an older golden retriever and what I believe to be a young grey & white terrier running across Euclid. They were crossing during a busy traffic stint, slowing crossing the street. When they got on the sidewalk over by my home I tried to coax them over… they ran back into the road. The terrier made it across to the other side but the golden retriever did not. It was extremely upsetting. I am posting this, if they had an owner, and the owner is still looking. They were filthy, seemed disoriented and lost. I wrapped up the Golden retriever and called pet services after moving them off the road. If this is your dog, I’m so sorry for your loss. I just wanted you to know.
