Description

PHILADELPHIA — A senior dog was found tied to a rail and left out in the cold last week in Philadelphia after being adopted just 48 hours earlier. Max, 11, was found Friday, Dec. 6 tied to a rail in the cold. A volunteer for Philadelphia's Animal Care and Control Team saw Max and recognized him. In an effort to stop Max from being euthanized, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to help pay for his care while a permanent home is found. As of Tuesday morning, more than $1,100 of the $2,000 goal has been raised. You can contribute to the effort here. GoFundMe is a Patch partner.
