Have perfectly decent guest bedroom. Bathroom with toilet-sink-shower down the hall. Not elegant, in fact everything sort of a jumble right now. But warm, reasonably clean, safe. No rent or utility bills to worry about. Guest bedroom is downstairs, unfortunately sort of basement vibe, but working to improve that. MBR upstairs, so fairly private except for unavoidable noise once in a while. Can provide room and board, and assistance adjusting to life in the U.S. Can definitely improve their English -- et on parle francais assez bien pour parler. Can help them with paperwork. Can provide cellphone with some prepaid minutes, text -- and some international calling. Not copious amounts. Can trade recipes if they like to cook. If they don't like to, maybe they I cook and theywash dishes. If they don't know how, can teach them. Have tried reaching out to a few agencies, but just get shunted around.
