I wish I had the same optimism, but just lets go back to when the REPUBLICANS had the house the senate and the presidency, nothing got done, no repeal of the unaffordable health care act, no reduction in our deficits, no tax decreases, yes Trump did a lot but mostly by exec. action. the republicans are part of the good old boys club too.
As long as we have public sector employee unions nothing will ever change, the politicians feed the unions so the overpaid under worked union (NON) workers will use our tax dollars to campaign for contribute to and vote for the politician that is going to award them their ridiculous contracts. Just look at where they put our (private sector) money, why do you think the police unions are backing Republican now? because the democrats are defunding them, once the dems change back like they are now they will get the money. the average RETIRED Suffolk county cop has a cost to the tax payers of $260,000.00 a year not to work. Unions Are the common denominator to this countries problems, they had the place in history now they are just greedy political action commitees.
Just follow the money.
