Looking for a bassist to join new band, right now we have guitar and drums (early 20s/late teens). Our songs are more in the alternative/punk vein like Clash, Arctic Monkeys, Strokes but we like all kinds of music and aren't limited to that style. We want a bassist with a background in hip-hop, funk, maybe some reggae, basically someone with a strong groove and good melodic playing. I really like the bass playing in Sly & Family Stone, Pfunk, Dre and Timbaland samples, Beatles, Zeppelin. Bring your influences and let's make something new.
